Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Mrs. Christine Partyka. In 2009 I married my amazing husband and moved to Manistique. I have two beautiful daughters and being mom is my favorite job! I began my professional teaching career in 2010 but teaching has always been a part of my life. I grew up in a household with 10 children and some of my earliest memories are when my dad built a classroom in our basement so we could "play" school. My siblings and I would "play" school everyday, and being the oldest, I always enjoyed being the teacher and helping my younger siblings.
I graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a secondary Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I have minors in Mathematics and Social Studies. I graduated with honors and took pride in my ability to focus on my studies knowing that the more I learn about the art of teaching the more it will benefit my students.
I approach my career as I approach life, with enthusiasm and an open mind.
